Koda ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application, Apple Watch companion app, and home screen widget.

Information We Collect

Local Data: Koda stores your habit data locally on your device. This includes habit names, schedules, and progress you create.

iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We do not have access to this data—it remains entirely within your Apple ecosystem.

No Account Required: Koda does not require you to create an account or sign in. The app works entirely with data stored on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the app's functionality
• To send notification reminders about your routines
• To sync your data across devices (if you enable iCloud sync)
• To provide customer support

Data Storage and Security

Your habit data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms provided by iOS. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account, protected by Apple's security infrastructure.

Third-Party Services

Koda integrates with the following services:

• iCloud (Optional): For syncing your data across your devices, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
• App Store: For app distribution and subscription payments, governed by Apple's terms
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions but does not have access to your habit data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy

We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. Your habit data is never shared with any third party.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete all local data by deleting the app from your device
• Disable iCloud sync at any time in the app settings
• Delete iCloud data through your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage
• Export or view your data within the app at any time

Children's Privacy

Koda is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
